Chesterfield Cycle Campaign promotes cycle use in Chesterfield for both leisure and utility journeys.
By campaigning for a comprehensive network, we aim to improve conditions for cyclists so that cycling becomes a safer and more attractive option than car travel for local journeys.
Our Campaign shared a stall in the foyer at the royal Hospital on Monday 30th April with Derbyshire County Council promoting the adult cycle training ‘County Rider’ scheme and Evans Cycles promoting ‘Cycle to Work’.

When the Derby Road shared path was completed we had several reservations especially about the crossings of Redvers Buller Road and Lord Roberts road. We met DCC officers on site with our suggestions and are pleased to say they have now been implemented
The path next to St John’s building has been widened and similar markings put across their entrance too.
